About the Opportunity

MDS is seeking a full time Service Coordinator to oversee our Australian Disability Enterprise. This is small lawn mowing and yard maintenance service that employs people with a disability (supported employees).

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Lead and supervise a team of supported employees
  • Coordinate the business (CPS is a lawn mowing and yard maintenance service) including completing customer quotes, scheduling of works and completion of NDIS service agreements and claims
  • Monitor and meet agenda targets for budgets and service quality outcomes
  • Meet risk management and quality assurance requirements assurance requirements including internal and external auditing and required follow up.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience (Certificate IV or above)
  • Experience working with people with a disability
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
  • Experience in leading, supervising and managing day-to-day operations of a team, including rostering of staff and payroll.
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, documentation and reporting requirements
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) qualification
  • Current Drivers License and access to your own motor vehicle.
  • To complete lawn mowing duties and yard maintenance as required
  • Basic mechanical knowledge in order to repair and maintain equipment

Desirable:

  • Experience in running your own business
  • Chemical Safety Certificate

This role is covered under the SCHCADS Award at a level 5 classification ($40.16 - $42.12 per hour). Also offered is salary packaging, flexible working hours, and mobile phone.
