About the Opportunity

MDS Training is excited to offer the opportunity of a Scholarship for the CHC43515 Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. 

To be considered for this scholarship, candidates need to meet the below criteria:

  • Currently working or volunteering as a Mental Health Peer Support Worker. (Mental Health Support Worker  - Consumer peer workers apply their personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery in supporting consumers)
  • The ability to access workplace information whilst studying - an employer or coordinator will be required to complete a statement confirming that the student in currently working or volunteering for a minimum of 80 hours over course duration in a Mental Health Peer Support Worker role
  • Recommended that candidates will have achieved Year 12 or equivalent in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills 

A scholarship panel will review all applications. All candidates will be contacted (both successful and unsuccessful) and be provided feedback from their application.
