About the Opportunity
MDS is seeking expressions of interest for a permanent part time position of Support Worker. This role will work at the MDS John Street Day Program in Camden. This position works under minimal supervision and involves assisting people with daily living skills and community inclusion and participation activities.
The successful applicant will have:
- Current First Aid Qualification
- Positive feedback on past performance in your Support Worker role
- Ability to obtain a Light Rigid Licence within 3 months of commencement
The Position is Part Time, working 65 hours per fortnight: Monday to Friday 6.5 hours per day. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to work additional approved hours, up to 76 hours per fortnight. This role is covered under the SCHCADS award level 2 ($27.94 - $30.56 per hour). Also offered is salary packaging and leave loading.
