About the Opportunity
MDS is seeking to employ a Sector Support Development and Training Support Officer. To provide administration and project support to the Sector Support Development Project that will assist in achieving a comprehensive and effective Sector Support and Development Project service to Commonwealth Home Support Services (CHSP) in Macarthur, South West Sydney and Wingecarribee to enhance the quality of service provision to people who are aged.
Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Provide a range of administrative duties associated with the implementation of the SSD Activity Work plan
- Support the Sector Support Development and Training Coordinator and the Aboriginal Project and Engagement Officer to review and monitor the development of risk management strategies and safe working procedures for all activities of the project and community venues
- Assist with financial data collection for Sector Support Development and Training and update data on the monthly report
The successful applicant will have:
• Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or related experience
• Demonstrated administrative/project support experience including collection of data
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the My Aged Care, CHSP and Aged Care Sector, including guidelines and best practice, related legal frameworks, funding, WHS, risk management and program compliance (QA)
• Demonstrated knowledge of administrative functions, project management and processes
• Apply knowledge of computer software including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Use of social media and web based platforms
• Current NSW Drivers Licence
The Position is fixed term until June 2022, and is part time 48 hours per fortnight (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.30am to 5.00pm with an unpaid 30 minute lunch break). This role is covered under the SCHCADS Award at a Level 3 Classification ($31.75 - $34.04) also offered is salary packaging, flexible working hours, mobile phone and leave loading.
