About the Opportunity
MDS is seeking to employ an Administration and Engagement Officer for our Allied Health and Behaviour Support Team. The role involves the practical application of experience working with people with an intellectual, physical and / or psychosocial (mental health) disability and knowledge of the organisation and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Respond to all enquiries and complete onboarding process including developing service agreements, requesting service bookings and liaising with external stakeholders to commence allied health supports.
- Completes NDIS claiming and invoicing for Allied Health Services including Behaviour Intervention Support participants using CRM system Alayacare
- Liaise with external contractors as required
- Drafts service agreements for review for all Allied Health Services referrals
- Monitors and actions outstanding rejections for Allied Health Services Assists in the development of complex filing and classification systems. Including support for audit preparation as required.
- Assists with monitoring requirements for service contracts.
- Coordinate and schedule restrictive practices panels, and all related administration
- Provides support to Lead Practitioner and Allied health team for administrative tasks as required
The successful applicant will have:
- An adaptable style to meet the individual needs of participants from a range of disability / mental health and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Highly developed customer engagement and customer service skills
- Highly developed written skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Good digital literacy skills
- NDIS Worker Clearance
Desirable
- Experience working in a similar role
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability sector
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (if not completed this will be required to be completed prior to commencement).
- NSW Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
The Position is Fixed term ending in December 2025, Part time working 15 hours per week (flexibility in the days/hours will be considered). This role is covered under the SCHADS Award Classification Level 3 ($37.35 - 40.05 per hour).
