About the Opportunity

MDS is seeking expressions of interest for Permanent Part Time Support Workers for multiple Day Programs. These positions work under minimal supervision and involves assisting people with daily living skills and community inclusion and participation activities.  The positions available are:

1. Leumeah - Fixed Term Parental Leave - 65 Hours per fortnight - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm 19/01/2026-21/08/2026
2. Leumeah - 40 Hours per fortnight - Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 2.30pm
3. Jacaranda - 10.00am to 2.00pm (Monday x2, Wednesday x2, Thursday x1, Friday x3) - flexibility in days worked can be discussed
4. Jacaranda – 65 hours per fortnight Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm

Note: From 5/1/26:

• Leumeah Day program consists of former Jacaranda and John St program 
• Jacaranda Day program consists of former Leumeah program

The successful applicant will have:

• Positive feedback on past performance in your Support Worker role

These roles are covered under the SCHCADS award level 2 ($34.58 - 37.73 per hour base rate). Also offered is salary packaging, sick leave, annual leave and leave loading. A copy of the job description can be found here
