About the Opportunity

This role is open to internal applicants and is an excellent opportunity to develop skills required in a leadership position. This position is to cover a period of leave for the Service Coordinator -  Mittagong and Tahmoor sites.

Higher duty positions are considered a development opportunity for staff to learn new skills and gain experience. If you are applying to this role from a different MDS department, you will need to seek approval from your General Manager

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

• Supervising a team of staff
• Program development and implementation
• Problem solving operational needs in each of the programs
• Acting as a resource providing coaching, direction and feedback to the team
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders (carers, parents, participants)

The successful applicant will have:

• Positive feedback on past performance in your Support Worker role
• Desirable Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Social Science or related discipline at Diploma level or above

The Position is Full time for the period, covered under the SCHADS award Level 4 ($44.58 to $47.97 per hr). Primarily based in Mittagong and Tahmoor, with attendance at meetings at head office Campbelltown as required.
